Singapore, you’ve shaped me in ways words can barely hold. For the past eleven years, you have been my challenge, my teacher, my lover, my muse. You changed me—completely, profoundly, beautifully.

When I first stepped onto your land, I felt an electric pull, a magnetic knowing—like falling in love at first sight. It wasn’t easy. Nothing worth loving ever is. But I knew I had to rise to your standards, to match your grace, your brilliance, your rhythm. Like the kind of man you don’t just desire—you admire.

You didn’t make it easy in the beginning. You pushed me away. You reminded me of where I came from. You don’t like Romanians. You tested my resolve—because of a past I had no part in, a mistake made by someone else from my country. But I stayed. I fought for the chance to be here for your 50th anniversary. I made mistakes too. I tried too hard to please you, idolizing you, forgetting that every paradise has its shadows.

But with time, we got to know each other. I grounded myself, learned your rhythm, and found my voice—not to impress you, but to live honestly in your presence.

I owe you so much. Because within your skyline, between your gardens and temples, I grew into the woman I always wanted to become. Here, I found courage. Here I found respect and I collected stories—of pain, of joy, of transformation. And now, I’m ready to give them back.

Starting now, I will tell “Stories of Singapore in Pajamas” every Saturday from a little downtown studio.There are six million stories breathing through your streets, and I want the world to hear them. Because beyond Marina Bay and Sentosa, beyond the Merlion and Chinatown, there is something even more breathtaking—your people.

Your people are why I stayed. Smart, driven, warm, and so incredibly conscious of quality and meaning. You taught me discipline. You taught me to build. You showed me how to enjoy the process while aiming for greatness. You opened your heart, and in return, I opened mine.

And now, I launch this movement—a brand, a community, a vision that was born from this deep love. We start in pajamas (because why not?), wrapped in comfort, authenticity, and courage. And we invite you to join us—in sharing stories, in building beauty, and in making meaning.
